All this resistance is the lazy farmer's own fault. Yes, the big companies are making alot of money from seed and technology use agreements but these products have also helped farmers get better yields as well as cleaning up fields and giving them more flexibility. Abusing this by planting RR crops every year is going to increase costs in the future and I personally would rather keep handling Roundup which isn't very toxic compared to other products. A healthy crop and herbicide should be in place on every farm. Give it time and farmers will have abused the BT gene, Corn Rootworm and we will be back to where we were 20 years ago.
