Driftless SW Wisconsin

Paul,

I agree. I hate to lose the ability to come right in behind with the planter due to anhydrous.

As bean prices climb back to where net profits are competitive with corn there will be folks in C ILL and elsewhere who may want to put nh3 for corn down in bean stubble in the fall with our Pluribus units. Low hp requirements and ability to run wide (16 & 24 row) are things we hear from folks considering it for fall nh3.

It would be interesting to see some pictures of the residue remaining between the rows on your ILL spring corn on corn strip till. If you get a chance. Thanks for your reply.

PS here is a photo of what fall made strips into bean stubble look like in the spring, in SC SD. These had dry P & K in them. It will be interesting to see how they work more east and with NH3 in them. It will take a while before we have data.
