| How much of a problem would it be to get permits to pump out of the river now? New pumps on the Columbia are close to impossible, and very expensive with all the fish bypass, screening, meters, and record keeping. If you're not already set up, it isn't happening here. Oregon is even worse as they have a whole extra layer of flaming pointed environmental hoops to jump through. Was in your area 2 yrs. ago, it looked like a great place to be. Hope you get your rain (one way or the other). | |
