If you are comparing AMS with liquid products at some tremendously reduced rate, you need to add "nothing" to the comparison too.  The liquid stuff sells on the same concept as lots of other snake oil type products....they want to compare their overpriced product to the other, cheaper product at a much higher rate.  They then benefit from the fact that a good portion of the time you can leave the AMS out completely (or apply product at half rate, or apply no fertilizer, or whatever) and get results equal to accepted practices.

The post above stating that the original poster should be happy because he got a "premium" product is laughable.
