| I just got in from scouting my fields and I wish I would have scouted sooner. One really has to check often because now the aphids here are the worst I've ever seen by far. Last week they were not bad at all. In the worst spots, my hands got sticky just from moving a few plants aside. Will be spraying them tommorrow. The only problem is my beans have no flowers left on them and the stuff I've read is there really is no threshold determined yet for beans that are at R4. On some plants there were literally probably 500 or more. Stems and all were covered with some big ones and ALOT of small ones. I wish I could show you all some pictures. If this becomes widespread, we'll have $12 beans for sure. Conditions are very similar to the 2003 growing season right now.
