Here in NE Iowa we saw aphid numbers rise last week to counts of 300-400 per plant, so we sprayed all the beans today (only have 160 acres this year). We are going into a time period that they are calling for hot and dry and don't need any extra stress on the beans. I like Lorsban for aphids because it is also good on the spider mites and has a faster kill than some other insecticides.
