Ive sidedressed for years. The last 3 or 4 years Ive paid out the nose. Used to be you'd get it a little cheaper sidedressing. No more. Paid $530/ton. That was old inventory or I'd paid $585. Paid around $500 year before. I even shopped around. Theyve figured out you have to have it so watch out. Suppose you could buy ahead but it always used to go down in late spring.
