West Central Iowa | Wow! $23 for a plane is crazy. I asked yesterday and was quoted $5 for the rowgator and $6 for the plane for application plus about $6 acre for generic lorsban for total costs of $11 and $12 an acre. I will use the plane if I have to spray unless he gets too busy. As of today the aphids are hard to find in the fields but I'm sure they are coming. Maybe that rain they are promising tomorrow night will wash them away. Wishful thinking, but it is getting uglier here by the day and a lot of damage has already been done.
