Subject: Re: Corn Harvest Started in South?

Ethridge, TN
We are probably about 2 weeks out yet. I'm expecting yields to be all over the board, as we probably have around 350 acres that could be doubtful if it will be worth the deisel to run the combine thru it, corn that was planted behind some of the frozen wheat. Under the pivot should/looks to be pretty good, but even it is going to have hurt places on the sand. Hard to get enough water on for the heat and dry of this year. Sort of figure it'll finally start raining about the time we try and take what there is off.
