I really don't know any more than what is in the article......yet. I did send the researcher an email letting him know I have aphids present in my field, and if he wanted one small field of a few acres which is seperate from the rest, and could go without being sprayed, he was welcome to take a look.

I'm just not certain how I really feel about this approach, it seems as though the government has a less than stellar record of introducing a species for a specific purpose and creating a whole new set of issues.

Aphid control without insecticide is rather appealling though, I must say.
