SW Ontario | Well I just took off a wheat plot yesterday.
I left a 60 swath not sprayed for a test so I removered it along with 30' on either side.
I sprayed headline on at the flag leaf and folicur at flowering.
With headline...swath 1 - 114 bu, swath 2 - 116bu/acre.
without - swath 1 - 116 bu, swath 2 - 117 bu/acre.
You could see a colour difference in the wheat from the road, but got NO response. This little trial has pretty much convinced me not to spray any more beans or any corn. It is dry here too, it is hard to imagine any leaf disease development...the wheat agrees. | |
