Where are you located?

I have ranging from 28-400 HP tractors in my operation. Don't be afraid to ask questions. You'll find that most of the guy's here that said garden tractors are southern farmers. I run a lot more hours per year than most here and willing to take a few days to do something. One thing is for sure; if you get a small tractor DO NOT get a hydro transmission for running rows or pulling and kind of equipment in one direction longer than a minute. I have an L-3400 Kubota Hydro and we hate it for anything other than pulling a trailer or outhouse around. Not one of the small hydro tractors has a set and forget ground speed lock. Your foot will feel like it going to fall of holding the hydro in one position and you can never maintain constant ground speed.
