Our chem dealer claims that headline also acts to slow down the respiratory process of a plant, therefore also gaining benefit in a dry year. That being said, we still didn't spray any corn except irrigated seed corn this year. Only 1" rain in June, 1" rain in July, no 1" rain event since 1st 2 weeks of may.......we decided against it on non irrigated field corn.

Be interested to see more drought test results from farmers not dealers
