| Around these parts it's about all cash rent and going up fast. Share renting is extremely rare as the landlords want no risk at all. Some are going to a cash plus bonus deal and we have been looking at this as well. The FSA issue in a problem but( correct me if i am wrong) i thought i read several months ago that if there was nothing in writing then they couldn't do anything about it.
I feel that the bonus deal is a viable option as it gives the farmer the breathing room in a marginal year to survive, and the landlord the ability to share in a banner year.
