Central IL | agree with plowboy. Cash rent should allow the operator maximum flexiblity with minimum input from the landowner. IMO the producer is the one who has the most at risk in a cash rent and should have control over how the operation is run.
This would be aside from standard practice of maintaining fertility as well as tillage to a point, depending on agreements with the FSA office. (In the case of HEL or other soil types) | |
