Hey, I'm over near Mexico. Topsoil? That field has spots that are pretty much red clay. The "Good Dirt" would be 8". Last rain was 1st of July, 4 1/2"-5", then, maybe, .25 since then. I don't know what it will look like in a week. With a rain it could be really good corn. Without a rain then 70 bu or less is my guess.
