Dutch-I usually run about 20 MPH at 4 gal per acre. Problem I seem to be having is nozzles plugging up. One thing I didn't mention which is more of a question? I found my inline strainers didn't have rubber O-rings. There was a place for them and am thinking that is where material was coming from to plug my nozzles. According to JD's book at 15mph I should be running about 65 PSI-maybe some less. Well at one time I was running in the mid nineties. Did a good job of cleaning the tips and got the PSI back down to the mid 60's and the on a daily basis the pressure kept climbing. Went through the cleaning ritiual again and realized I didn't have the O-rings-put them on and I am staying near the 70 to 75 mark. As a result of the plugging I am not inclined to go to the 50 mesh strainers, and am still with the 80 mesh. I also tried some 120 mesh on one field. Seemed to give the controller on the sprayer a difficult time trying to decide where to be.
