I think the temperature is about as important as the rainfall. In 04 we had less than 8 inches the entire growing season and had 200 bu corn wholefield averages. What rain we got came at the right time, and it was cool. That's what has saved us this far this year. We had a week of weather just a week ago that several days didn't even get to 80 degrees. That bought us some time, but the bank may be dry. The April corn, is going to make good corn, but it did get some early rains.
