They are in twins, so they are 23"-7"-23" they averaged over 70bu last year, best I ever had. Had been in 15" rows for 6 yrs before that. Always had to spray RU twice anyway. With this planter I can place innoculant in furrow, and fert. between the rows. I don't run down any beans with the tractor in the RU passes. I plant the end of April to first week of may. I believe ealy planting negates any advantage to narrow rows. I am notill so Dad plants beans while I am planting corn, gives him something to do besides recreational tillage. Old habits die hard.

I'm not saying I have it all figured out, but this system has been working for me.
