Renville Minnesota

We are on 30" spacing for Corn, soys, and Navies.

Weve had a 7.5 inch drill, 15 inch drill next to 30"s for over 15 years on and off, and never had an increase in yeild. So why have another peice of equipment.

We are thinking of going back to a drill for Navies, just for weed control, as the row cult. throws too many rocks into the combines.

Around here University of MN (Lamberton exp station) can't even get 20" corn to yeild within 5 bushels of 30"s  (last three years)...........So goes the "further NORTH" theory.

This is in our ground, stuff 35 miles away can be a different story.

I agree that narrow row soy's combine nice.
