Martinsville, Ohio | Sure is, pull the ear leaf off one per acre or two acres to get 30-50 leaves per field. I let them wilt down so there is not so much bulk. You can fields like that everywhere so it is not uncommon. Some are on the low side N, on the low side P and on the low side Zinc. If you put down enough of those nutrients the hard part is figuring out what caused the lack of uptake.
Does look like a good crop, you are doing a good job trying to improve it in future years.
