Murfreesboro, Tennessee | Same situation here in Middle TN. We only planted about a 1/3 of the cotton in favor for corn. Wished I had all cotton this year. We did some really preliminary corn yield checks and I hope we get 70 bushels per acre. We were excited about bean prospects until this recent heat wave. This is the most challenging year I have ever had. Easter freeze killing corn and now this drought. I guess we need to take the good with the bad, but the bad is really tough to take this year around.
