West Texas | Sheesh! Talk about tall cotton! Reminds me of my dad's crop in 1966. Taller than his head, and he's 6'2". Turned out to be the highest yielding cotton ever. He'd drive the picker into the row, fill the basket after just 50 feet, and have to back out of the row to dump, then head back into the row for another go.
I forget how long it took to pick that field, but you can bet it was a pretty long while.
