If contract was at higher price than present, offer a neighbor who has not contracted any a small premium for helping you fill your contract. Generally, contract with local elevator much easier to get out of if price at delivery is lower than contracted price, as they made omney when they shorted the board the day you made the contract. Might still cost ya a dime or so to break contract, but much better than buying one out at a higher price. Can oft times also roll it forward to next years delivery for a small fee also.
