Springhill,Kentucky | We had this very same problem back eight or ten years ago...We had sent some hay into northern Texas and later, got a letter from a lawyer down there saying we had killed one of their prize mares..The first thing i did was to take several samples from this very lot of hay that was left over and sent them to a diagnostic lab..I realize this is not foolproof, that beetles could be in one portion of the hay and not in others..The samples i sent off came back clean as i fully expected them to..Next i had my lawyer send copies of the lab samples and a cover letter to their lawyer,it was the last i ever heard of it...Not saying this deal will work that easily,i really believe there was more going on there than i knew at the time.. | |
