Medford, OK | The reason we are looking for the old varieties is that in the past 2 years our older variety's which has been around for 50 - 60 years has out performed our newer variety's. Never had a rust issue and has always yielded more. One dry year the older variety produced 30 bu/ac. to where the newer only produced around 15 - 20. Theres alot of farmers in my area that are wanthing to get back to the older varietys because of the success that the crop has had over the past few tough years. | |
