I was at a meeting yesterday and the BASF people were claiming: better drought tolerance; better stalk quality, better ear fill, stay green stalks, etc., exactly what you're saying. They told of growers using two applications of Headline on sweet corn, first application at 4 leaf stage and then just before tassling.
