| Name one government program that pays better just because it is the 10,000th ac. and not the 100ac.
I don't know of one.
Where you get hammered is on the supply side. Maybe you should tell Pioneer that a bag of seed corn cost the same to produce and market no matter who buys it. But the big grower demands a discount.
The flip side is that when the 1000ac farm comes up, farmers will pay more to by more.
