I've never heard of an actual depth of plowing to kill something..... BUT something that HAS to be done...... You are going to need to plow to a certain depth to get your plow to work correctly.... It has to turn over a certain amount of soil to do it's job. Around here, 6-8 would work.... As I recall optimum depth is half the cutting width of the shares??
