west Tennessee
Joey your right about the SW TN folks last year...... they really complained about some of the flex varieties last year....... due to heat and drought. we had about 25 % of our acreage in flex last year and it easily yielded 1200 to 1400 lbs on good ground. the thinner hills went 900 to 950. I think overall we made a 1100 lb crop in the bottoms and a 900 in the hills...... I really think we are looking at 50 to 60 percent of those yields this year.......

tell me why do we get no media coverage? why is no one telling the story of our totally lost soybean crop... and our 50 to 60 percent yield reductions on cotton??? Is it because we had mediocre corn yields instead of zeroes on that too? I guess west Tennessee really is that insignificant in the big picture............... Dave
