It's mostly advances in genetics and as I said a corn hybrid can be improved faster than a soybean or wheat VARIETY, hear that, VARIETY? And the seed money was set in hybridization many years ago so they are going to make more from it so they can spend more on breeding etc. But $50 seed beans might be more profitable!
