Subject: RE: Soy Yields In Ontario

Eastern Ontario
We haven't started yet, but itching pretty bad to go. Got all clear hilum and still some wet beans at top. By the looks of things, it's going to be a repeat of last year. 50 bu seems about right. I'm hoping to get more than that on some fields. Got some really late planted beans which still look like the middle of july. All leaves still on and pods not completely filled yet. Might just end up as cover crop. Not many acres.  Hoping to get started next week. Weather is nice to do some tillage. Didn't get anything worked last year.  Anyone spraying where you are? Saw a couple of sprayers this week, spraying the escaped ragweed. Seems pretty bad this year.
