| We started beans on Tuesday (Sept. 18) an early day variety to make sure we could get some wheat planted this fall. Our yields are low in southwestern Ontario 20-40 bu/acre. This is a result of a total of 5-6 inches of rain for the growing season. Switched from one IP variety to another on Friday and the yields picked up a bit and are now in that 40-45 bu range but it's some of your best ground. The stems are green as grass but the beans are 10-11% moisture so we're making the old girl groan them through. Glad things look better your way.
