Yes, that's who it was. Very nice people. (to us anyway). First met him in 1984 thru a neighbor. I lived in Muleshoe then. Visited with him again in the mid 90's when my father in law worked in that area for Asgrow. Went to his farm several times. He was quite a caracter!
Still know some people in the Uvalde area too, where my inlaws lived for 9 years.

Our cotton looks decent I think but is at least 2 weeks behind if not 3. A cold spring made us plant very late. Neighbot sprayed some yesterday but it's semy irrigated. Watered it up and that was about it. May make a bale but I doubt it.
