Goff Kansas
personally we are going back to a 60/40 bean corn rotation next yr., and leaving the wheat out... talked to our seed supplier, and was told that wheat acres will increase in NORTHEAST ks, just slightly next yr., but considering everyone and their uncle planted wheat last yr., that is quite a bit. i think corn will have its hands full post harvest to keep the 86 mil acres needed to obtain a 1 bil carryout next yr. Input costs are getting scary, and one wonders where that will stop.. every yr a bigger increase than the yr before.. beans are still in the air until we get what this crop will do. think they will have to stay 9+ to keep the pipeline full for next yr. assuming we grow a 42 bu crop this yr... Informa at 43 i think, wouldn't bet on it but who knows. hasn't 5 of the last 8 yrs. usda has went under the soy guess in oct., while corn was over 8 of 8...

welcome to the board S.C...
