| Bill this is where preservitive comes in handy for me. Have used it once this yr. 2 lbs. Silo king per ton at 18 to 20% will get it up. .24 per bale is what it costs me. Won`t use over 21% but am going to experiment when I can. Hav`nt ben able to do anything for 1 1/2 wks now all it`s done is rain. Was able to do about 6000 sm. sq. in the good week we had. Everyone needs hay NOW and it`s starting to get tough. Got 100/ac. to go and straw will be ready, probably bit off more than I could chew this yr. But thats farming! Now my wife wants to go gambling,told her I`ve had enough gambling for a yr. God Luck, Jim. | |
