It seems the best beans grown here were in the mid '90's. In 94-98 it wasn't real uncommon to grow 60 bu beans. Since about '99(drought year) 40 has been good, and 30's have been common with a few 50's thrown in, as well as a few in the teens. We are having more problems with BSR, Phytophthera(sp), aphids, etc, etc. I think an awful lot of it is weather related, I guess is what I'm saying.
