That is a GOOD question. They seem to dislike cold, hard steel. They like a pH they enjoy, near 7.0 and they like to be fed lots of residue. Now, growing crops for profit while feeding them is a challenge. I don't claim to know any answers but sure am trying to figure them out.

I know that the deeper you get those soil livestock to work the better your crops.

I think Dr. Clapperton from CA is speaking at the NNTC in Cincinnati the second week of January so that might be a good question for her.

Her problem is she does not know farming, she only understands microbiology.
