SE MN | That is certainly an impressive radish. It worries me a bit though, when we tear up old alfalfa stands there will be some tough old root bundles that come to the surface and interfere with consistent seed depth and soil contact. Seems like those radishes would be even worse. Even if you don't till them, I would be worried about the heavy roots interfering with the seed disks and soil contact.
I am definitely not experienced with this stuff, so enlighten me: how does the planter deal with those massive roots?
