One of my favorites, Brian.  Took the students there, took the wife there, thought about getting married there like many others do.  Beautiful farm right down the road from the Ertel Toy Museum.

Plowing was OK when I was a kid because we only did it once every five years, hauled manure, baled hay, raised wheat and straw and the soil life was OK.  But when we went to the White 5100 in 1976 that soil just kept getting better and better.  Now it is as mellow and productive as the fence row that was never plowed.

Cover crops were a nobrainer this year but still no one, well lets say few around here planted any.  We had plenty of time.

Last year you couldn't even get your fall crops planted...
