Nebraska | some corn was sprayed with it late in the summer and one guy told me that the corn ended up looking like it was grown in a garden. No leaf or stalk diseases, good healthy color, generally the plants looked nearly perfect. When it was yield checked it did much better than the non-treated corn but I can't remember the figure but it was way more than I would have thought. The thinking is that we have grown accustom to seeing all these minor leaf and stalk diseases that we think that their not a problem but in fact they do more harm than we know.
I'm going to spray some this year on corn and beans. There were good reports on bean yields also where Headline was used, 2-3 bu. advantage. Not sure if this yield boost in corn and beans will show up every year but we will find out. | |
