Subject: You said "annual rye grass"------ did you mean cereal rye, ie winter rye-----??

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

Just curious, since we use winter rye.............and USUALLY have little problem in killing it..........but we till it under, as compared to using a chemical.

The annual rye grass I have no experience with..............and would like to hear more.

I have been laboring under impression that winter rye has deeper roots, and does "better" job of accumulating nutrients, than rye grass.............your thoughts??
