Small grain in the rotations make it real easy to use covers. I don't like small grains, as it screws up my motorcycle riding time. Also, none of our trucks have AC and its pretty hot out then.
Just being a smart @ss. Well, sort of. We do have some rye for seed in now, that'll get OSR and/or peas next summer.

We use an airplane to seed a lot of our corn/soy rotations. Cheaper than running a drill, no compaction, and timeliness is much easier.

Grandkids are here now, I'll try to get some pics up later today.
