Same w/"area" thing "here". Seems from what I hear from those involved, most of the damage occurred in one area of IL, but that area not being here. It doesn't seem to me that bad ideas or mistakes would be more prevalant in one area than another, especially w/products that don't seem regional in nature nor do they have much history to bank on by either experts, novices, or violators (lucky or unlucky).

My point? Something is missing in the facts!

Unless one knows specifically WHAT can cause trouble, you are banking on luck every time. Not sure that's a good plan.

Again, if someone suggests "you shoulda' known better...", I'd ask, "known better than WHAT & how did YOU know that?"
