West ky | Rich, yes it is a dekalb variety. 5400 is another good number. According to stats we are in a range of 48-50 in/yr on rainfall. A lot less than that this year,not sure exactly how much. We have just started growing milo again last year. We use quite a bit of their corn also for the simple reason it will stand until we get to it. Dekalb may not always be at the top but it sure isn't any fun digging the best out of the dirt. | |
