Little River, TX | Just finished reading information about potassium soil test results in one Montana soil.
It appears if you analysis a damp sample of soil the result will be roughly 100 ppm K.
Allow that soil to air dry over a few days, grind it up and the same soil will test 420 ppm K.
Take that same soil, oven dry it in 140ยบ F, and grind it to a powder the result is 500 ppm K.
The third option is roughly what every soil sample is subjected to. The first option is roughly what I used to do with a home soil test kit.
