Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

Yes...8-9 tons.

The litter is also our source for all other nutrients of any consequential amounts.....p and k, example.

Litter tests were mostly consistent, although the source for the litter does not do a good job of providing consistent batches............some really wet, some not so wet, etc. etc.....we have to take potluck.

Amount of N we were allowed to put on as sidedress was minimal...........now that I have had a chance to think about it...........not enough for differentiation........maybe 6-10 lbs of actual N.

We'll see what the soil tests etc. have to say--------this oncoming year should not have the problem, since putting on similar amounts of litter, but will be behind corn, going to corn, as compared to behind beans going to corn.
