not sure what you're talking about, I know a couple guys who have some organic acres pushing in the 180's for corn yields this year, a lot following alfalfa stands from organic dairy alfalfa. Not sure what kind of soils the organics you know are farming on, but their yields sound a little low. I do know they sell for a pretty nice premium though.
