I can't afford that risk. My budget numbers tell me about the same thing IF my bean yields are average, the trouble is my high and low yielding years are very far apart. Here corn is predictable, making it easier to grow a profitable crop. That said, I will be about 1/3 beans again next year.
Why plant more corn at all?
