I put quarter rate nozzles at half height in fronf of the tire tracks. Gets glyphosate on the weeds before the dust. So far I've not seen tire tracks in a couple years of spraying. I run those nozzles on a separate valve so I can turn them on and off separately from the boom. To reduce the spray quantity, I also put screens with ball shut off valves in the front nozzle fittings. Takes 5 PSI drop to hold the balls open.
